Daphne Lange Rosenzweig, author, professor, museum exhibition organizer, and appraiser, is a specialist in the field of Asian Art and Archaeology. An Asian art consultant to museums nationwide, she has organized numerous traveling exhibitions on subjects as diverse as Chinese jades, 18th century Chinese court art, Chinese and Japanese painting and ceramics, Korean art, and Japanese prints. Dr. Rosenzweig has presented many lectures for international and national audiences; including the Morikami Museum of Japanese Art's National Endowment for the Arts Lecture Series, the International Netsuke Society, the College Art Association, the Association for Asian Studies, the Ringling Museum of Art, and International Society of Appraisers and American Society of Appraisers annual conferences.

Rosenzweig Associates, Inc., is a personal property firm specializing in Asian and Islamic art appraisals. Clients include governmental agencies, museums and art galleries, mediation companies, insurance and banking industry offices, auction houses, and private individuals. The firm has also served as design consultant for special event planning, such as the annual Chinese New Year displays for the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas and the Ringling Brothers Circus.
Examination - The appraiser meticulously examines all property, evaluating characteristics, noting condition, obtaining measurements and taking photographs. The time spent in this phase is considered "On-Site Time".
Photographs - Digital photographs are taken to document the property, comply with IRS regulations, and to aid with research. Photographs are included in the appraisal report.
Research - The appraiser researches marks and labels translating where possible, verifies dates, locates comparable items and selling history, investigates appropriate markets, and consults experts, when necessary. This approach produces an accurate report that fully protects you and your property. This phase is considered "Research Time".
Report - The appraisal report is written in compliance with the International Society of Appraisers' (ISA) Appraisal Report Writing Standard, and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). The report includes a cover document detailing the scope of work, process taken, definitions of values used, and a list of items with descriptions, photographs, and the appraiser's qualifications. The report is typed and bound.
